The strange and powerful lunar wizard, Fu-On-Yu, appears toward the end of the story after the defeat of Skoal. He knows the answers to everything, including Skoal, the power of the crystals, and possibilities yet to come. He floats around on a small flying saucer, which he seems to be attached to. He never joins the party, but does accompany them to help them face greater challenges.
